MEET THE TEAM!

I’m Elizabeth Johnson, an artist who has walked the path you’re about to take and experienced many of the questions and concerns you might have. I’m here to share those experiences with you. After a successful career in the arts, I’m now enjoying my retirement years. I firmly believe that no matter your age or stage in life or career, it’s never too late to learn and explore what truly ignites your passion.

My creative journey began at an early age, thanks to the encouragement of my mom, who recognized the talent within me. Both she and my dad nurtured this gift through art lessons, classes, and a college education. Armed with my degree in design, I launched my career with a consumer products company. As I followed my husband’s career across the country, my own career blossomed, opening up numerous opportunities that helped me grow as both a person and an artist.

My last seventeen years were spent as a Creative Director for a leading private label food company, where I had the privilege of leading a design team that created packaging for over 10,000 food products. In this role, I learned the importance of inspiring and harnessing the unique talents of each team member. I discovered my passion for seeing them flourish into their own creative individuals. This field also provided me with invaluable lessons in food styling, photography, USDA/FDA labeling requirements, color theory, printing processes, marketing, and much more.

With over 35 years of experience, I’ve transitioned from the corporate world to opening my own art studio, where I’ve had the pleasure of working with passionate students, aspiring professionals, and first-time artists alike. It’s been a joy to help them elevate their art and pursue their passions in the creative world. To learn more about me, visit www.ejfineart.com or follow me on Instagram @ejfineart.

Meet Berlynn - Berlynn Burns is my longtime partner in crime and creativity, someone I’ve had the pleasure of collaborating with since she was in the sixth grade. From the start, it was clear that Berlynn has exceptional talents in a wide range of creative fields. Currently enrolled in Animation school, she excels in character design, video production, and various technical aspects of design. Her boundless energy and creativity continue to inspire and motivate me, and together, we make a powerful team.

In a very short time, Berlynn has crafted her own successful creative career, and the quality of her work is truly remarkable. To explore her work, visit www.theburnscreative.com or follow her on the gram @theburnscreative.
